the U of A is huge!
The U of A is like its own little planet where you can come and go. There are a lot of different kinds of different things: birds, cactus, people... I see a little boy ride on his bike, past an old man in his wheel chair. It's like in the cactus garden, seeing the tall spindly ocotillo stand next to the short, chubby barrel cactus. Also in the cactus garden are saguaro, prickly pear, jumping, and many other species that I cant identify, of cactus. as i was admiring the cactus garden, i saw a cactus wren run past a pigeon and nearly knock over a swallow-like bird, only emphasising the difference in... everything! A bit of a way away from the cactus garden are four marble slabs, at a slight angle back. Onto these marble slabs, several jets of water are being spouted in a small, upward arc. The sound the water makes against the marble is nice, kind of a soft, muted rush. Very soothing to me.
